Spring in Los Angeles means BritWeek! This year's program officially kicks off on April 21st with a Gala Dinner benefiting Malaria No More. Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair will be guest of honor at this exclusive event that will raise funds and awareness to eliminate deaths from malaria.
Among other high profile events will be a star-studded, red-carpet Champagne Reception to Celebrate the Launch of BritWeek2009 hosted by the British Consul General. This was a highlight last year�visit our photo gallery for many celebrity sightings!
BritWeek once again features film, TV, music, sport, theatre, retail, fashion, the arts, BAFTA/LA's annual awards dinner celebrating British comedy and a Celebrity Soccer Match at Home Depot Center in conjunction with the LA Galaxy.
This year we have added science, food and automotive events as well as a Filmmakers Forum round table discussion with entertainment industry leaders...and more!
